JYH STAFF

Jackson Youth Hockey is excited to welcome two new members to our leadership team!

Elliot Van Orsdel joins us as Director of Player Development. Elliot grew up in Eveleth, Minnesota—a small town steeped in hockey tradition—and has been playing since the age of four. Known for carrying his skates and stick to school, Elliot’s early dedication to the sport set the tone for a lifelong journey in hockey. He earned his associate’s degree while completing high school, then went on to play junior hockey and NCAA Division III hockey at the University of Southern Maine, where he also completed a degree in Business and Marketing. Following college, Elliot played professionally in the FPHL before choosing to pursue a career that combines his love of coaching with small-town community living. Throughout high school and college, he coached extensively, leading AAA teams and offering private lessons during his offseasons in Minnesota. Elliot is passionate about sharing his love for the game and being actively involved in small-town hockey culture. He currently plays for the Jackson Hole Moose and is excited to help develop the next generation of players within the JYH program.

Kilee Amborski joins us as Director of Operations. Born and raised in Jackson, Kilee has deep roots in the community and a lifelong passion for youth sports. She grew up playing volleyball, basketball, and running track, and went on to play collegiate volleyball while studying Education and Sports Administration. After returning home to Jackson, she coached high school volleyball and volunteered her time coaching youth soccer, tee ball, and basketball. As a hockey mom to four players and a dedicated community volunteer, Kilee brings a strong understanding of what it takes to support families, coaches, and athletes throughout the season. In addition, her experience as a local business owner equips her with the organizational and planning skills essential for running a successful youth program. Kilee is committed to growing the game of hockey in Jackson and looks forward to contributing to the continued success of JYH through efficient operations and clear communication.
