Q: What equipment do we need?

Q: Does JYH rent or lend equipment?

A: JYH does not rent or lend equipment...once you are registered you can receive updated emails regarding gear sales etc. Currently there is a Jackson Hockey Swap Sell and Trade group on facebook. 

Q: Why does the team manager need a copy of my child's birth certificate?

A: Skaters are placed in age groups by birth year.  The Birth Certificate is the required verification of the skater's age.

Q: I did this last year. Can we use that same number?

A: The USA Hockey number is good for one season only.  Every participant in Jackson Youth Hockey MUST regsiter every year.  We cannot permit any skater, youth player, adult coach or volunteer on the ice without it.

Q: Why do we need to register with USA Hockey?

A: USA Hockey is the governing body for our youth hockey organization.  Your membership with USAH provides you with accident insurance.  You may see the benefits of USAH online at  www.usahockey.com or in the Documents or Registration section of our website.
