About Jackson Youth Hockey

With exactly 200 Jackson Hole youth enrolled for 2011-2012, Jackson Youth Hockey since 1989 has provided a meaningful opportunity for girls and boys ages 4-18 to experience the great game of hockey and to develop their skating and hockey skills to the best of their ability, while instilling sportsmanship, leadership and responsibility. Jackson Youth Hockey is a member of the Wyoming Amateur Hockey Association, part of the Northern Plains Disctrict of USA Hockey.

Our Mission

It is the mission of Jackson Youth Hockey to provide a meaningful opportunity for children to experience the great game of hockey and to develop their skating skills and hockey skills to the best of their ability while instilling leadership.

Jackson Youth Hockey (JYH) provides equal participation opportunity in its programs to all children without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, and citizenship. JYH makes reasonable accommodation to meet the needs of all youth skaters.

Jackson Youth hockey is a member of Wyoming Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA). WAHA is the governing body for youth and adult amateur hockey in Wyoming. Members associations include Casper, Cheyenne, Cody (Park County), Douglas, Gillette, Jackson, Laramie, Pinedale, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Sheridan. WAHA is a member of USA Hockey (www.usahockey.com) which is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO. Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota are the members of the Northern Plains District (www.usahockey.com/northernplains)
